Correction and Retraction Policy
Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat (JKM) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the scholarly record.
The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern.
Corrections: Corrections will be issued when errors are identified in published articles that affect their accuracy or interpretation but do not invalidate the overall findings.
Retractions: Articles may be retracted if there is clear evidence of research misconduct, plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or major errors that invalidate the findings.
Expressions of Concern: The editorial board may issue an expression of concern when serious questions arise regarding the reliability or integrity of a published article and an investigation remains inconclusive or ongoing.
All correction and retraction notices will be clearly identified, publicly accessible, and linked to the original article. Retracted articles will remain accessible with appropriate labeling to preserve the scholarly record.
Decisions regarding corrections and retractions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the editorial board, following a fair and transparent evaluation process
